When DocWob met Guy Martin

When DocWob met Guy Martin

In the world of Speed few names resonate like Guy Martin. The well-known motorcycle racer, truck fitter, part-time farmer, enthusiastic engineer and occasional television presenter has a deep-rooted interest in engineering and more recently he also joined the DocWob team under the awning at Farleigh Castle Vets MX, as part of the team rider line up.

When the conversation first came about, we had no idea just how much mutual admiration and respect would transpire. Both parties share a deep appreciation for the art of engineering and the thrill of racing, which made for an engaging conversation that spanned everything from stories from previous adventures to innovative bike accessories to his last project ‘Spirit of GB’ where he will be attempting the land speed record by going 400 mph, due to take place in spring 2026.

Guy is just like most of us in the sport, his enthusiasm for motocross is infectious, but his finding time to throw his leg over the bike and spin some laps is the hard bit. Having only ridden a motocross bike twice this year, it didn’t stop him taking to the line at Farleigh Castle Vets MX on a 2002 Yamaha YZ250, where the two stroke was decked out in Yamaha 70th anniversary graphics. Guy’s love of two wheels and engineering prowess aligns perfectly with our mission at DocWob, where we strive to enhance every rider's experience with high-quality products.

Speaking of quality, our DocWob Titanium T-bars, we learned that Guy Martin has a set in his own workshop and he now has one of our purposely designed T-bar holders that fit onto any toolbox and make the T-bars easily accessible. DocWob T-bars are made from premium titanium, offering not just strength and durability but also a lightweight feel. We’ve just finished engraving a fresh batch, and they’re ready to hit the shelves! However, be warned: these popular T-bars fly off the shelves as soon as they’re restocked. If you’re considering a unique Christmas gift, or simply want to upgrade your own tools, now is the time to act.

Don’t miss your chance to order your Titanium T-Bars today.
