Ben Townley Confirmed for VMXdN Foxhill 2025

Speculation has been buzzing across social media recently about the next big name set to join the VMXdN Foxhill lineup, and we're thrilled to announce that the wait is finally over. Former FIM MX2 World Champion and AMA SX Lites Champion Ben Townley will officially join the prestigious event at the legendary Wiltshire circuit over the bank holiday weekend, August 21-24.

Widely admired in the UK and internationally, Ben Townley steps in as a special guest rider for the American team, replacing the injured Mike Brown. Fans will fondly remember his unforgettable battles with Ryan Villopoto during their time together at Pro Circuit Kawasaki. Now a dedicated Yamaha brand ambassador, and with his son Levi contracted to Yamaha's bLU cRU programme, Ben will pilot one of DocWob's expertly built 2002 Yamaha YZ250 machines adorned in the iconic Yamaha 70th anniversary colours. In tribute to Mike Brown, the number 7 plate has been respectfully retired for the 2025 event, with Townley riding under his famous 101.

Fox Racing is currently producing an exclusive run of BT101 replica jerseys, available for fans at the event merchandise stand. Ben Townley will also be available throughout the weekend for autograph sessions and photo opportunities.

Over its four-year history, VMXdN Foxhill has solidified its status as a premier event on the UK motocross calendar. Fans will once again enjoy the thrilling spectacle of world-class riders racing vintage two-stroke machines, echoing the unforgettable battles of the '90s.

The action-packed schedule kicks off with gates opening midday Thursday, offering attendees a relaxed start with hospitality, beer tent, and the trade village. Friday features sign-on and technical inspections, the renowned Show'N'Shine bike exhibition, and an evening packed with podcasts, interviews, and music.

Racing begins in earnest on Saturday, complemented by Yamaha's rider autograph session and further evening entertainment. Sunday promises more intense racing, the legendary lunchtime parade, and energetic podium celebrations. Weekend campers are encouraged to enjoy the extended stay through bank holiday Monday.
